Not being able to pay with my account balance.

Hi, today i bought 20 pounds worth of xbox gift card to pay my game pass ultimate to subscription and to buy GTA 5 at 5 pounds with that offer.

Game pass ultimate 10.99 pounds and in my account balance i have 18 pounds( after i bought gta 5). Also i have to mention that my game pass ultimate payment is long overdue. and when i go to renew it asks me to enter a payment method wich i dont want to
add one so it wont take moeny from my account. Here are a couple of screenshots.

Please help me, i dont want to put anymore money.

Also i have to mention that i keep getting emails from microsoft that the renewal has failed(before i added those 20 pounds, maybe it will do it automagically. Now i will wait for the email. Once i get the email i will let you know.)

Overdue balances can only be paid via credit card or Paypal. You would have to pay off that balance before you could use your Microsoft account balance on a subscription.

Since you are not given the choice to pay with your Microsoft balance, unfortunately you will not be able to pay for the individual developer account with the balance on your account. You will need to have a valid credit card on PayPal linked to your account to be able to make the payment.

You will have to pay the past due balance to get your account in a zero balance. Then you should be able to buy just Xbox Live after your account is at 0. This should only pay for the past due balance and not resubscribe you to UGP. After paying the past
due balance, and buying Xbox Live go to your MS Account page under Services & Subscriptions then turn off recurring billing to avoid anymore issues with this.

If you let your card expire, but you leave auto-renewal on, they will still try to charge your card which will create a balance you will have to pay off. After so long of them not being able to charge your account, they will suspend the account and in order
for you to get gold again in the future, you would have to add a new card to pay off that balance before you can purchase a new gold subscription.

I think you need to use the Xbox web site first to pay a past due balance on your account if you use the link below you should hopefully be able to pay the balance.
