Not being able to install a game I own

Recently I've gotten back into boarderlands 3 I own to separate xboxs and have the game downloaded on one of them I tried to reinstall the game on my other xbox but it says I dont own it and I have to buy it.

Any help I can get with this?

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > General > Network setting > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address: clear

Then, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps

I, too, am having this problem. I already own Geometry Wars (Retro) Evolved, as well as Trials HD, as digital downloads from the 360, but they don't show up in my Xbox One "Ready To Install" list, and when I manually search them in the marketplace, it wants
me to pay for them again.

Which version of the Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition do you own.

I know there are two versions one which has just One disc and comes with content and the other comes with two discs. In where to content in on disc 2.

If you have the two disc version place disc 2 in the tray for playing the game.

If you onwn the one disc version and you bought/download the DLC you should already have it on you account.

You just need to download it which can be done in the game management.

If you bought the One disc version second hand, and the DLC code where already used. You need to purchase the DLC you're self.
