    Not being able to install a game from the ‘ready to install’ list


    When I want to reinstall any game and I press start on that game and go down to install, it then doesn’t install - nothing happens - I just wait and see nothing come up. I have no idea how to solve this and i spent a lot of money on this game so please help.

    ready to install games disappearing!

    Try checking the Xbox Store. If the games have been removed from the "Ready to Install" list, you should still be able to install them from the store app.

    Hey ChargedPine8840 -

    If you redeemed a code, you should be able to find the game in your "Ready to Install" section. Start from your Xbox One dashboard:

    • Navigate to "My Games and Apps" on the right
    • Scroll down to "Ready to Install"
    If the code was redeemed properly, that is where the game will be and you should be able to select it and install it form there.

    I would see if there is an update available for your console, if not factory reset your Xbox and reattempt.

    Are you on a child account? That would prevent you from being able to purchase 360 games from the One or xbox.com.

    With Ghosts, try going to the game in your games and apps and try managing the game. See if it has the DLC listed as ready to install or if it does list it as being installed.

    Given that you are able to install them from the Microsoft store sounds like there may be a glitch stopping the ready to instal list from showing these games.

    You'll be able to install it from the "Ready to Install" list which is found in "My Games and Apps" (if it doesn't automatically download) as soon as Backwards compatibility is released.
