    Not being able to Download free games when I have a Xbox live subscription !!!


    I have an Xbox 360 with a UK account and have had that for years.

    Last month ( October ) I got a superscription to xbox live .

    I was able to download the free game Darksiders 2 but none of the games offered this month [November ].

    I have contacted xbox 360 support but been having different answers.

    One agent said that I should migrate my account from US to UK, but I do not have a US account .....

    Another agent suggested that it was a problem with the bank card , but if this was the case how was I able to download Darksiders 2 in October without a problem ?

    I know there is no problem with the bank so was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions as the Estonia agent was not helpful.....

    xbox live gold problem with free game

    I have activated the xbox live gold subscription. now for free I can download games ncredible Adventures: Van Helsing 3, ZOMBI. the store is displayed that I can download free of charge by subscription to the game Army of Two, but when I try to download
    it I'm offered to buy it why I can not download it by subscribing to xbox live gold for free

    Still can't download GWG 360 games on Xbox One even after newest update

    My son has a paid xbox live gold subscription and I am able to download the free xb1 games under it including the rated M ones because I do not have content restrictions set.

    Are you saying there is some special restriction that you can't download the free xbox 360 games under a child xbox live gold account?

    The account you're posting with doesn't show as gold. If that's the case, then that could be causing an issue.

    Also you said you spoke to an Estonia agent. Do you live in Estonia but are using a UK account? Some games are region locked, so your physical location has to match your actual location in order to download the games. You also have to live in a region where
    the games are available. Not all games are region locked so that is why you would be able to download some but not others.

    I am in the UK and asked for a call back and received one from an agent from Estonia.

    I am in the UK using a UK account but somehow I have a xbox live subscription tied to a US account.

    I do not know how that happened but it has and I am having trouble finding a solution .

    Okay, that makes a little more sense now. Unfortunately support are going to be the only ones who can really help in this situation. It would have something to do with the system seeing you as having a US subscription but not actually being in the US.

    There are support members on the forums, but when it comes to billing issues or changes in account info, you have to go through phone support.
