    Not beeing able to download games through Xbox App (Beta)


    So, I am using the Xbox (Beta) app to play Game Pass PC games, I have downloaded some games in another computer and it worked just fine, now I am using another computer and I've only been able to install one game, when I tried to install another one, the
    app couldn't download the game and said there was an error (0x00000001), so I went to talk with a "Xbox Gamer" from the Xbox support, the guy tried but nothing worked, so I tried to install through the Microsoft Store, and the game downloaded, BUT if I try
    to install through the Xbox App it won't work, AND every game that I've tried to download through the Xbox app CAN NOT be downloaded through the Microsoft Store, so somehow the Xbox app "corrupted"? the game in my computer, and I can't find a way to reverse
    it, I don't know where the files would be, nor know why this happened, I've tried to uninstall the Xbox app multiple times and restarting my computer over and over and nothing.

    You can either just look up a game you're wanting to get that's on the pass in the store and download it from there, or there is a Game Pass area on the dashboard you can go through to see all of the games included and download them there.

    If you're looking on the PC, you should be able to look them up through the Microsoft Store app or use the Xbox (beta) app.

    are you initiatingthe download through Xbox Beta app. I am not seeing any issues downloading games from it.

    Hi Pawer 8,

    You will need to update Windows to 1903 in order to download the Xbox (beta) app game launcher and then you will be able to download games available in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If the update is not being offered in your Windows update settings, try running
    the Xbox (beta) app installer and it should also walk you through updating Windows.

    The installer is found here: https://www.xbox.com/xbox-app

    If you still can't update Windows to download the app, then try using the Update Assistant: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10

    Hi Baptiste,

    It's still not clear what app or game you are having trouble downloading. If you cannot download the Xbox (Beta) app for whatever reason, the easiest way to get the app is to use the Xbox
    (Beta) app installer    .

    If your version of Windows needs to be updated to run the Xbox (Beta) app, the installer will help you through that process.
