Not allowing to make purchases

I am trying to buy VC(coins) in NBA 2K17 but every time I try to make my purchase, it says transaction cancelled and doesn't even bring up my credit card info. What should I do?

help allowing child to make purchases - settings not saving

I have an adult account and associated child account. My child received a $20 Xbox gift card for Christmas, which he has successfully added to his profile. However, he can not purchase downloadable games through the Xbox, receiving a message about not being
able to purchase premium content.

No problem, I'll update his privacy settings, right? So, through xbox.com, I login to my account (parent) and navigate through Security, Family & Forums -> Online safety on Xbox 360 -> *select child account* -> Purchasing ->

This is currently set to "Blocked". I change it to "Allow" and hit save. Great! Except I go back to the same location to review the settings, and it has automatically reverted back to "Blocked" again. The setting won't seem to save.

For what it's worth, I tried changing an "Allow" setting to "Blocked", and that too won't save. Everything reverts back to default when I save.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. He just wants to download a game!

Avatar store not allowing purchase

I've been trying to purchase avatar items from the store and it either boots me back to the store homepage or says that it cannot be purchased is there an issue with the store?

I want to allow them to use my Xbox Live, but do not want to allow them to make purchases without my knowledge. Is there a way to require a password before making a purchase?

There was nothing that allowed me to make the purchase after the message, but what I did do was allow purchases without requesting, and that was a resolution. Thanks for your help!

Firstly changing the date of birth on a child account is not going to change it to an adult account on its xbox profile.

if the child account is set so that it can not make purchases the easiest place to go to make that change is account.microsoft.com/family and sign in with the parent account and it should give you the option there to allow purchases by the child account.
then when you are finished making the purchase if you don't want them to be able to make purchases again you would just go back to that same website and choose to not allow them to make purchases

First verify that your card issuing bank allows making purchases through the internet, if it allows it, there should be no problem
