Not Allowing Purchase with Sufficient Funds

I redeemed my code for the Titanfall Season Pass and it properly gave me the 25$ associated with it. However, when I actually go to buy the pass on the Xbox Store, it keeps telling me that I have to use a different payment method to pay the rest, even though
it is 24.99$. This is same thing that happens to people who get error code PBR9002, except I don't get the error code. What is going on?

Make sure the credit card you are attempting to purchase from has sufficient funds to support the transaction.

If not, contact Xbox Customer Support hotline.

 

getting the dreaded: Your payment instrument could not be authorized. Please contact your provider, or try a different payment option.

Try logging off and logging back in. Make sure that your credit card has sufficient funds to make your purchase.

Also, try removing the card and re-adding it if troubles continue.

The pricing in the Marketplace doesn't include local sales tax. While you have $25 and the pass costs $24.99, you also have to add on the sales tax to the purchase which will exceed the $25.
