Not allowing me sign in using my account

Hi,

If the system tells you " already exists " its meaning that you try to make a new account.

You have to add your account not create it on the console.

sign into microsoft.com or xbox.com and make sure you are using the correct password, if you have no problem there then

please firstly power cycle your console. once the power cycle has been done and if you can still not download or sign in you should factory
reset . this should fix the problem. let us know how you get on.

thank you kindly for the fast response. i was able to log onto Microsoft and password etc checked out no problem but still it did not want to add my account. i did the factory reset as you said and now it accepted it again and is working good.
