    Microsoft acquires streaming service Beam

    twitch will remain on top. Youtube offers a much better streaming service than twitch allowing you to put high ass bitrate for great quality, yet everyone is still on twitch.

    I tried watching but it became a garbled mess after about a minute and a half (Forza 5). My connection when just tested was 43.87Mbps down, 18.70Mbps up, and 50ms ping. You sure you got the connection to stream?

    43ms ping, 5ms jitter, no packet loss.

    That's pretty good. I'm guessing it was the streamer's connection as to why it was garbled.

    let me see what my connection is at..I know im hardlined with a rating on speedtest of 46ms ping, 24mbps down and 4.2mbps upload...on the x1 it states: 100ms ping, 31mbps down, 5mbps upload, 0% packet loss and mtu of 1480. Not sure why the feed was so bad,
    must have to do with twitch connecting to the X1 servers. Also I have all xbox live ports open on my router.

    im going to try the destiny servers next...my feed on my pc next to me has a 5 sec delay of what i'm doing but i dont see any jittering.

    Your Destiny feed is coming though fine. Maybe it was a glitch on Twitch earlier! Lol.

    How exactly is that a stupid rule? Nobody wants to log in on here and sift through a bunch of spam from uninteresting people asking to check out their gaming channel.

    this is XBOX ONE GENERAL DISCUSSION..if im twitch streaming ON XBOX ONE it would make sense that i could go to GENERAL and announce for anybody. Is it not like your signature where you announce your UNINTERESTING band sites? lol hypocrite and thats not
