Not allowed to download music on Xbox Music

Hi all

I'm having issues buying music on the xbox music app for my windows 8 PC. I got a £25 gift voucher, and have redeemed it on my microsoft account, hoping to buy some of the new albums that have been released i havent picked up yet. After successfully
redeeming the voucher on my account, i opened Xbox music, and attempted to purchase an album, only to find that my account is verified as a teen account, and so Xbox music cannot verify the purchase. I've tried looking about for answers on the web, but i've
already altered my DOB on the account, changed all the security settings on the webpage to Everybody/Allow (even for xbox one and xbox 360 devices, despite not owning any, just in case) yet it still says im underage. The only advice Xbox gives me that I haven't
tried, but looks super easy to do and looks to work, is going on your Xbox 360 console and changing it on there (which I cant do as I dont own one). I can see no equivalent for PC users like me, so i think im kinda screwed if no one can help me XD.

Xbox/Groove Music Pass on Windows Phone 10 Insider Preview

Hello. Since I'm using Windows Phone 10 Insider Preview (now on 10.0.10512.1000) I'm not allowed to download music (using the new Groove App) with the context of my Xbox/Groove Music Pass active subscription. I can find the music I want on the new Store
App, but if I want to download it I have to pay. How can I use my Xbox/Groove Music Pass subscription with my WP10 phone? Thank you

 

XBOX Music Pass Questions

I am a long time ZunePass user. When I look at my allowed devices I show 3 PC's and 3 Zune Devices. If I read this right at this link:

This is dropping to a combo of 4 devices, correct? And this is for downloaded (files) music and not for streaming, correct? I can stream to unlimited devices? A little confused.

My question stems from my Surface not being able to see an XBOX Music playlist I created on my main PC; On my allowed see my Three Zune Devices and 3 PC's...on my Surface, I went into settings and Preferences for XBOX Music and it has option that says WHEN
I ADD SONGS TO MY MUSIC ON OTHER DEVICES, DOWNLOAD THEM HERE TOO. For kicks, I moved it from OFF to ON, it moves it back to OFF and says:

CAN'T DOWNLOAD. SORRY, YOU CAN'T

DOWNLOAD BECAUSE YOU'RE ALREADY DOWNLOADING ON THE MAXIMUM DEVICES

ALLOWED.

So, I take it I am still set to a 3 Zune, 3 PC limit? I wonder if that is what is preventing my XBOX from seeing the playlist too...hmmm.



Also, on my work PC (an allowed PC), I still do not see the list synced.

And I've noticed that many of my lists have dropped to a 1,000 song limit.

You should be able to change privacy settings at Xbox.com

Log in there and click My Account, then 'Security, Family & Forums' and, under Xbox 360 settings, the very last option should be 'Xbox Music, Video and Windows Phone'. Make sure that one is set to allowed (as well as any pertaining to making purchases).

Let us know if you continue having problems with this.
