Not allowed on Xbox Live?

Every time I press Play Online on the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 main menu I get an error message saying "The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live." I made sure I'm not banned and I just purchased a 1 month Xbox Live Gold subscription
yesterday so that's not the problem. Anything I can do to fix this? My subscription time is active and I cant even play what I paid for as of right now. Any help is appreciated.

We are having this same problem but have changed nothing! We have xbox gold and one of my kids can use it and the other cannot join parties, send messages or play any multiplayer. Save me before my kid goes insane, please!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Rikser,

The account you're currently on does not show that it's an Xbox LIVE Gold member which is why you're getting this error message when you try to play online. If you received a trial offer when you made a new account you would have had to put in your billing
and payment information in order to activate that trial. You're given 3 x 1 month Xbox LIVE Gold trials when you purchase a new Xbox 360 console and these come up everytime you make a new account using the console itself, not Xbox.com.

 

It can take a while for your Gold membership to come into effect, leave it for 24-48 hours for the system to catch up.

a quick way to get that to get to your console is to test your xbox live connection. then afterwards just log into your profile and you should have your gold membership showing on your profile. another way is to download your profile. but its far faster
to just test the connection. sorry, i'm rambling now.

 

First thing just log out of your profile and log back in.
