not all skydrive folders shown on xbox one

I have around 8 folders in SkyDrive but Xbox one only shows 5 folders.

Those 8 folders are visible on windows phone and wondows rt. But not on Xbox one.

Skydrive app on Xbox one not seeing all folders with pictures?

Any idea why the skydrive app isn't seeing one of the folders that has images in it on the console? I have a directory tree on my skydrive that has about 30 GB of pictures in it, and it won't appear on the xbox app. All of the other folders on there that
have images are shown, including custom ones that I've created. Is there anything that would stop the app from detecting images? Could it be an issue with having things multiple levels deep? That directory structure is year\month, so PicturesBackup\2013\1-January\image.jpg
for example.

Skydrive shows not all folders

Hello,

in my Skydrive i have about 15 subfolders for my Picture library. Unfortunately not all of them Show up on the xbox one. They do on my Windows 8.1. PC and on my Surface, as well on my Windows phone (Lumia 820)

Hi,

i had the same issue. Check if there are only jpeg Files in your Folders. For me it worked to just de- and reinstall skydrive. Although i had to do this 3 times....

how are your folders named? if they contain unusual letters and symbols like a dash "-" or else, then rename them. in my case I had a folder named pictures 2008-2010

I renamed it to pictures 2008 to 2010 and it worked

It seems, that the symbol library needs to be extended.

The recorded clips show up in skydrive after you publish them in upload studio to your Skydrive -> Pictures -> Xbox Game DVR folder.

I hope one day they allow us to configure the folder as this is usually the most confusion on this topic - people expecting output in the videos folder or a custom xbox one folder, not under images.

i don't know why, but all Folders Show up correctly now after my third reinstall of the skydrive app. I had only jpg in the subfolders.

G'day Frankenbeutel! Sorry to hear about the mysterious disappearing folders. How many of those 15 folders are missing on Xbox One? Is there anything within the names, like a similar letter or special character, that they all share? What file types (jpeg,
bmp, mov) do those folders hold? Let's try to find a pattern between them that might tell us why those particular folders aren't showing up. Let us know!
