not accepted gamecode

Hello, i hope i am right in here, because i tried different other contacts to solve my problem (steam, telephone microsoft) and nobody could help. Sorry for my english, i am german. I bought Virtua Tennis 4 (PC Version)in former times (a few years ago) and
played it at steam. Therefore i also have had a Windows live account. When i now installed the game new at steam and started the game i was asked for my Windows live account. I do not know why, but i could not give the correct informations. I started the account
info with my actual password and after login the gamertag was an absolutely unknown one for me. So i tried to change it to my old one "Doczahni", but i got the information, that this one was bind to another account. So i took a new gamertag "".
But now, when i put in the gamecode for Virtua Tennis 4, the code is not accepted, because he is bind up to "another account" - but it is still MY gamecode. Nobody else got this or played with this code. This code is still bind up to my steam account. Could
you please help, because i cannot play this game with this error and it is still MY game and i payed for it.

Do game codes from other countries work in your country? (Specifically US to Canada)

It's because a gift card code didn't work from US to Canada, and I was wondering if a
US gamecode can work in Canada.

Please tell me if you know anything about gamecodes and if it's accessible in other countries.

They dont even sell the discs new

If you mean old promo codes I highly doubt they will even still work

Sorry to hear it. Any game is bound to the gamertag that originally purchased it and it cannot be transferred to another account for any reason.

What you should do is contact phone support again and tell them that you cannot remember the email address associated with your gamertag. So long as you can answer some account specific questions then support will be able to give you the email address.
From there you'll be able to change the password.

also try restarting internet for the gamecode possibility that when you enter code theres a lag. but diffently sounds to me you got defective xbox

Can you upload a screen of the error and of your accountsettings (just the language and region, please block out all other elements to keep your account safe)? I suspect the gamecode is from another region which makes it incompatible with your account
settings.
