Not able to voice message on new dashboard

Discus and support Not able to voice message on new dashboard in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When I go on my friends profile to send him a voice message it only comes up with the option to text instead of voice message can you please fix this...     Any word on a May update?

    okay, everyone is saying voice messaging came out, I went to do that the other day, and couldn't find the options. Went to the Dashboard Quests, and had nothing there to teach me how to do it. Anyone know how to do voice messaging?

    Yes, there should be a split in the options between voices messages and text messages on Xbox One. I like being able to send and receive text messages between all people, but don’t like getting voice messages from angry kids. I should be able to have the
    ability to send text messages to all, but not be able to send or receive voice messages or at least only to friends.

    They have changed the friend request system, You use to be able to find someone then send them a message and verify it was them before sending the request. But now all you have is the add voice, and send friend request. Think this came about with the new
    dashboard.

    With the new Dashboard update coming this Fall, you are able to navigate through the dashboard, Netflix, and other apps using Kinect. Eliminates the controller since you are just using your voice/hands.
