    Understanding that this has been an issue for several days, but I am still not able to play games downloaded from xboxlive. Any attempt to play HDD games, access IE or Netflix are met with a black screen which cannot be exited except through xbox dashboard
    or else it freezes entire console. I'm not really expecting an immediate solution to my issue, seeing as it's already been a few days, but I am wondering how Microsoft is planning on compensating the customers who have been affected by this issue-seeing as
    how it could be construed as theft of personal property on the part of Microsoft?

    on longer than 2 weeks, but I didn't know b/c I hadn't been using it.

    It's a shame I have to come here to complain about it, b/c I can't get ANY HELP otherwise. Please FIX THIS!!!

    Personally I don't really use any of the apps either, but...... I also understand that it's not all about what I like. A lot of people do use the apps that are there. It doesn'tbimpact me at all so I don't see the big deal. It just seems you want a reason
    to complain.

    Hey, I have a cool workaround that you can try: make sure your account is not set to automatically sign in by opening your Settings>Profile>Sign in preferences>turn em off. Then clear your system cache out a few times under Settings>System Settings>Storage,
    select your hard drive with the Yellow Y and clear out the cache at least 2x. Then reboot your console, leave it off for about 2 mins. THEN when you turn on your console DO NOT sign in, launch the game or app&your console will prompt you to sign in and you
    can play this game. Xbox does have this issue up on the current service alerts so this is just a temporary fix, you'll have to reboot your console to switch between games most likely.

    The only thing that's going to fix this issue is for MS to undo the server patch that caused this problem, and make a new one that resolves it. And while I'm thinking about it, after four days of no service, are we going to see any kind of compensation?
    Some of us only have a limited budget for entertainment and paying for a service for four days and getting naught out of it doesn't inspire customer loyalty.

    The only thing that's going to fix this issue is for MS to undo the server patch that caused this problem, and make a new one that resolves it. And while I'm thinking about it, after four days of no service, are we going to see any kind of compensation?

    Saw that some of you have been able to launch app through "My Apps", so I thought that I would try launching from there instead of from the Xbox360 homepage and it works. I was able to launch Netflix through there with no problems. I should have read "all"
    the comments earlier before posting. Thank you for those who advised how they were launching the app with no issues.
