Not able to use redeemed funds

I bought a $25 Xbox one card today on Thursday, February 4, 2021, and redeemed it. My card was activated and entered without any errors but I am not able to use the money. The payment and billing section of the settings tab shows that I have $25 in my balance and the transactions tab shows that I redeemed a $25 card today but no matter what I try I am not able to spend the money. Is there any way I can get a refund or my money into my account so I can spend it?
