    Not able to upgrade Microsoft Solitaire Collection to the Premium option.


    I have tried 5 times to uninstall, reinstall and then try to upgrade to Premium Services with no success. The message says my license needs to be refreshed to make in-app purchases.

    I originally purchased this game and premium upgrade with my previous laptop. I reviewed my Microsoft account and deleted the old laptop listed. I then repeated the instructions to uninstall, reinstall and then try to upgrade to Premium Services. Same
    message and no luck upgrading.

    What can I do next? I really hate seeing the ads for the other games that I never intend to play! Please advise.

    We are trying to upgrade from Solitaire collection to Solitaire Collection Premium to avoid ads ..... we are trying to pay for the year but it keeps telling us we have to uninstall before we can be upgraded to premium. We uninstall but then it will not
    give us the option to upgrade. HELP

    Make sure you are logged into Solitaire collection with the same microsoft account with which your purchased the premium upgrade.

    I am not using Microsoft Solitaire Premium.

    In Microsoft Solitaire Collection there is.

    "Settings" Apps & Features" choose Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Advanced Settings then Reset.

    Since upgrade to Win 8.1, Premium user bonus button entitled "Give me an Extra Deal" in (paid-up for a year) Premium subscription for Microsoft Solitaire Collection closes app. Other button entitled "Give me a Wild Card" does work. correctly. No "Upgrade
    Available" in Store available for installed Premium MS Solitaire.. I am hesitant to uninstall/reinstall for fear I will need to pay again. Unsure how my account is linked to the Xbox name given me by the game. Can you help?

    Did Microsoft just create an XBox account for me?

    When you first logged into Microsoft Solitaire Collection, it created a GamerTag/Username to be associated with the Microsoft Account used when opening Microsoft Solitaire Collection. This is used to track your progress(score, badges, achievements, etc).
    This GamerTag is generated randomly and may be changed(1 time for free) if you wish to do so.

    A 1 week free trial of Premium Edition is given when you first sign into Microsoft Solitaire Collection. The Premium Edition grants access to bonus exp, coins, tournaments etc, as well as Ad-Free. At the end of the free trial, you are given the option to
    purchase the Premium Edition subscription or continue to play free, without the Premium features.
