    Not able to talk through Microphone


    I recently purchased an Xbox one and a turtle beach earforce xo one headset. I tried talking through the microphone, but no one is able to hear me. I can hear the game sound and the people talking. The buttons work for the headset and the headset has been
    updated. I have tried:

    1. Signing out of my console
    2. Disabling auto sign in, then signed back in
    3. Turning off the console
    4. Placing the console in power saver mode then turning it off. Then back on.
    5. Disconnecting the microphone from the controller
    6. Turing the controller off, then plugging in the headset
    7. Updating the controller
    The microphone in the box works, but I want to be able to hear the game and people talking at the same. Any help would be appreciated.

    Voice Chat Through Speakers!

    On the 360 you were able to have your voice chat set to either play though microphone, play through speakers or both.

    On the one there is nothing like this!

    this needs to be looked at as i would like to play my game volumes through headphones and talk through a clear microphone!

    Please add a setting for voice chat like the 360!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    How to change Party chat to come through TV and Headset??

    I've been looking around the internet for awhile now trying to solve this but I have had no luck. Is there a possible way to have your party chat come through your TV speakers but still use the Headset mic?

    I'm looking to be able to use headphones to hear the party chat through my monitor but still be able to use a headset microphone (possibly usb microphone?) to talk in party chat and not have to use the kinect.

    If I use wireless headphones and connect them to my Xbox controller, can other people hear me talk?

    If the headphones have a microphone, then when you start a party with someone, then yes they will be able to hear you. If it doesn't have a microphone, then no they won't be able to hear you. Same applies if you use in game chat to talk to other gamers.

    This is most likely a PC setting that is conflicting with the microphone setting, hopefully it egts resolved and you are able to talk to your friends again.

    2 players

    Yes, two people could play online at the same time, both with headsets, and join a party and talk to others, but the two may not be able to hear each other through headsets (because they're on the same console). So both users should be able to hear everyone
    else, and everyone else hears both of them, but the two might not be able to hear each other through headsets and would need to rely on hearing each other without microphone/headset.

    Go to the Home screen, select your gamerpic at the top, press A and select "Choose this person," while visibly holding the controller in front of Kinect. That should trigger it to register you as the one talking and re-route talking through the headset rather
    than TV.

    You say they still hear you, but I suspect that's through Kinect rather than the headset's microphone.
