Not able to switch Hard Drive Storage Locations on XBOX GAME PASS PC

If you can't change it with the application installed, try uninstalling it. in the installation process you have the option to change the path.

I know it's not a big help, but if I'm not mistaken, it still can't be changed in beta.

be sure to provide this feedback via the Feedback option within the Xbox beta app. You can find it by clicking your profile icon in the app in top right corner and select the Feedback option, this will start the Feedback app where you can provide this feedback.

That way the correct people will see it.

I was able to change where apps where installed but have not tried downloading a game to see if it worked yet.

try this

windows settings -> system -> storage

other storage settings

change location of new content

change "application" to disk D

This does not work unless you delete the contents of that drive. This is unacceptable. Why would anyone pay for a service that is locked to just one drive on a PC!?!? I have 4 hard disk in my PC and game pass won't let me decide where to put my games unless
I delete a drive...….It's just sad at this point.

If you select a different storage device then of course everything would be reset. Always choose the storage device that has your save file on it. In the options menu of the game you should be able to switch storage devices. Just switch back to your hard
drive.
