Not able to sign in with my profile on my Xbox 360.

Xbox Support was able to fix my profile. I'm now able to successfully download and sign into my Xbox 360 profile on my Xbox One X.

You will be able to sign into xbox 1 and 360 using the same profile at the same time.

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?

WHITTEN: Yes this works! You’ll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time.

Definitely not the case for me, I have the same profile on both my Xbox One and 360 console and I was able to sign into my 360 account recently without having to jump through any hoops whatsoever.

I'm having the same issues as well. I am unable to download my Xbox 360 profile onto my Xbox One X when running backward compatible games, preventing me from being able to play them and retrieve cloud saves. I have tried this with The Witcher 2, Fallout
3, and Gear of War 3.

Several months ago, I was able to sign into Xbox Live while playing Xbox 360 titles on the Xbox One X without issue, however, now a "Disconnected from Xbox Live" notification appears on the screen where it says "Getting your Xbox 360 info" and eventually
brings you into a sign-in screen to download your Xbox 360 profile.

If I remember correctly, it didn't require this additional step to sign in and was able to download the 360 profile automatically. Now it disconnects from Xbox Live and a sign-in window appears when you try to play a 360 game that requires signing in.

On this current Xbox 360 sign-in window, I am able to successfully sign into my account using an app password (successful sign-in confirmed on the Microsoft account sign-in activity page) and am greeted with the message "Hi <gamertag>! Downloading profile"
and a progress bar that reaches about the 10% mark and displays the following error:

"Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to http://account.live.com to fix the problem. 8015190A"

I have tried pretty much every possible every possible suggested ution which includes:

- cleared the Xbox 360 storage

- deleted the Xbox 360 profile

- completely reset the system and setting it up again as if it were new
- signing out and signing back into the Xbox One X

- un-installed and re-installed the 360 titles

- edited my Xbox profile gamerpic on Xbox.com

- changed my Microsoft account password and reset all app passwords

- used different internet networks (wifi from router to cable modem, upnp on/off, wifi from mobile hotspot on cell phone)

I have also completely factory wiped an original Xbox One, completed initial set up, signed into it, downloaded and installed the 360 games from my library, ran the games, and encountered the same situation mentioned above when it tries to retrieve my
Xbox 360 profile.

I have also unpacked my old Xbox 360 Elite and tried to re-download my profile which also resulted in the same error. I was be able to sign in successfully and would see the message "Hi <gamertag>! Downloading profile" with a progress bar reaching about
the 10% and then display the following error:

"Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to http://account.live.com to fix the problem. 80151014"

Because this appears to be happening on both Xbox One systems and the Xbox 360, this isn't a hardware-related issue but either an Xbox Live issue or an issue with the Xbox 360 part of my account. This makes it impossible to even sign in onto an Xbox 360.

May we have this issue escalated? I too have been on several Xbox support calls and chat sessions without reution.

Just an update on this. After a chat session and a couple of follow up emails a few days later, I'm extremely happy to report that Xbox Support has successfully fixed my profile. I'm now able to successfully download and sign into my Xbox 360 profile
on my Xbox One X.
