Not able to sign in to 360 games on Xbox one s.

Hi Vamsipunuru, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

We will be needing to remove and re-add your Xbox 360 profile on your Xbox One so you can successfully play the game again.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Load up an Xbox 360 backward compatible game

2. Press the menu and view button on the controller at the same time to open the Xbox 360 guide

3. Press "X" to sign out of your account

You should see an option labeled as "Download Profile" then press "A" to confirm

4. Enter your Microsoft Account credentials.

Yes, your son will still be able to sign in on the Xbox One S and play games on it.

Xbox 360 games do not appear to see these users and I'm unable to select them when adding players to 360-games.

User accounts work differently on the 360 (and the 360 emulator on the Xbox One and Series X/S) to the way they do on Xbox One and Series X/S. The 360 had user profiles that needed to be downloaded first.

It's been a while so you'll need to bear with me. If remember you will need to sign in first with this other user you've created, then launch the 360 game. This will download the additional new profile to the console. I think, after this you should be able
to add this player to your game.

You should be able to sign into both consoles at the same time without any issues. Microsoft confirmed this saying that you could in fact your profile concurrently on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. You should be able to be in a party chat with friends
on the Xbox 360 as that's a closed off system only open to folks who own Xbox 360's.

If I sign in to a friends Xbox 360 and download one of my games then sign out, will my friend be able to sign in and play my game?
