Not able to save background Photo on MyHome

Discus and support Not able to save background Photo on MyHome in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Since the recent update with my One I'm not able to save background pictures to my home any more and I just feels weird cause I'm used to seeing it...     Not able to save background Photo on MyHome


    Since the recent update with my One I'm not able to save background pictures to my home any more and I just feels weird cause I'm used to seeing it when I sign in and now my background is just a plain grey colour NEED HELP !!!

    Choosing a photo for a background

    Nice to see this option was added, but it's not working.

    I placed several photos on a flash drive, and navigated the options menu as specified in the tutorial.

    When trying to select a photo for a background, it only plays (with the play icon over it) the photo, but never gives option to actually use it as a background.

    Bing, has photo submission contests etc.. Last years contest, was with Dizzy Rascal...

    Contests, are normally, theme based contests though... ie specific country landscapes, gardens, photos of clouds & horizons etc..

    When you say it just "plays," are you highlighting the picture and pressing A? To set as the background you need to highlight a picture, press the Menu (old start) button, then choose Set as Background. Is that not working?

    You have to open the picture so its fullsize then use the menu button on the fullsize picture then the option will pop up.

    This would be cool, they do have it where you can set screenshots as your background and also you can edit photos on a computer and plug a usb in a put photos on that to use as your background.
