Discus and support not able to redeem a game code in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; i bought a new xbox one x console on friday the bundled shadow of the tomb raider and the code will not redeem and comes up with this message Check...     i bought a new xbox one x console on friday the bundled shadow of the tomb raider and the code will not redeem and comes up with this message

    Check the instructions that came with your code, you might need to redeem it on a different web page

    now i have been in touch the the MS chat but just waiting for a reply back about this issue

    Bizarre Xbox live / game receipt problem

    Bought an Xbox live code for my sons for Christmas from Game via my debit card and it came as a text code on a basic receipt. Dopy dick here then lost the receipt before redeeming the code. Will Game be able to trace/link the purchase to the code via my debit card? Obviously the coffee isn't redeemed so not like I'm blagging anything? Lol

    Hey there DESINXBOX,

    Sorry to hear about the issue with redeeming the code. Have you tried the Prepaid Code Troubleshooting guide yet? Sometimes that can help out. Where are you physically located
    currently? Does your account match the region? Is your console also connecting to Xbox Live within that region? Try to redeem the code on xbox.com HERE and let us know if you're also seeing the same error message and
    error code. Please also post the error message and error code here as well.

  5. Did you try to redeem throught the console or on the webpage? Sometimes you have to sign in to the microsoft account on a mobile divice or computer log into your account and redeem the code that way. Or try through the smartglass app

    i did this friday evening and they logged the problem and just waiting for a replay back about when it will be fixed

    This is an emerging issue, and as stated on the

    Microsoft Service Agreement
    : We strive to keep the Services up and running; however, all online services suffer occasional disruptions and outages, and Microsoft is not liable for any disruption or loss you may suffer as a result. In the event
    of an outage, you may not be able to retrieve Your Content or Data that you’ve stored. We recommend that you regularly backup Your Content and Data that you store on the Services or store using Third-Party Apps and Services.

    We are working on it diligently but as of right now the best course of action would be to
    Request a Callback and have the case opened to get it all settled!!
