    Not able to play Xbox Game pass on PC games


    I just got a new PC which came with a free trial for Game Pass on PC. When I open the Xbox app, it says to manage my subscription and from there all it says is that I do have it activated. I have made sure I am signed in to the Microsoft store and even redownloaded

    the Xbox app and nothing works.

    Even if the game is only available on game pass for PC, the game is also a play anywhere game, so will still be able to play on the Xbox One for no cost, if you have game pass for pc or game pass ultimate.

    Game Pass Ultimate includes Gold, Game Pass for Console, and Game Pass for PC. As long as you're signed into the same account on both the PC and Xbox, you would have Game Pass on both.

    You won't be able to access all Xbox games on the PC. Only games that are Play Anywhere or included in Game Pass for PC.

    Xbox game pass is mainly for the Xbox games, and then there are few Xbox games which are play anywhere titles, meaning they can be played on both Xbox and PC, and thus you're able to play those on PC.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

    As a far as transferring games from Xbox One to PC, unless the game is an
    Xbox Play Anywhere     [XPA] title or part of the
    Game Pass for PC    , you wouldn't be able to play that game on your PC.

    This also works the Vice-Versa, if the game is part of the Game Pass for PC and not available as a game on Xbox One or part of the

    Game Pass    , you wouldn't be able to play that game on your console.

    I'm sorry about any confusion this might have caused.
