EVERY TIME I try to purchase something I get this message

We’re having trouble processing your payment and we’d like to get it sorted out.

I have to call and get told some BS excuses about why I can't make a purchase at that time. (Your bank is blocking xbox, Xbox thought it was a fraudulent purchase, The Microsoft payment center is down, The xbox network is down and the list goes on and
on) I make them start a service case about my account and 2 days later I will get an email telling me that I can now make my purchase. I do and it goes thru with no problem. A week or two later I try to make another purchase and it starts all over. I have
4 separate payment methods on my account from 4 different banks, 2 personal and 2 corporate. I have these same accounts on PS4 and have no problem with any of them on there. I have been on xbox live for 14 years and this crap 2 months ago. If my account does
not get fixed I'm going to shut it down and make my PS4 my sole entertainment console.

Hey there IBN James,

Sorry to hear you were having an issue with making a purchase on the console. We don't have the ability to retroactively offer one of these promotions, but prices and promotions change all the time. It's best to keep an eye on the console or majornelson.com
for the latest deals.

Well that was useless. It makes you go thru a bunch of prompts and then tells you to look for an answer online in the help section and then disconnects you.

I get that error message usually, whenever a deal or offer posted on a blog leads to the US website of the Microsoft/Xbox store, and I am in Germany.

So whenever I try to buy something in a currency other than Euro, I get that error message.

That Error might therefore not be an issue with your payment methods or the service failing, maybe you also accidentally are looking at the website with the "wrong" country locale.

Check that you are visiting the Xbox Store with your country locale.

Yes, my purchasing issues has been fixed, I am able to make purchases for now.

But I'm still waiting for a heads-up about the promotional prices purchase I missed because of this issue. I have been promised to be able to get the same promotional prices for the two games I was trying to purchase while I received this error.

I have tried purchasing through my Xbox console, PC and mobile. I tried Xbox Website and Microsoft Store app too. Same results.

I have checked all the methods mentioned to be sure that my profile has its store set to Turkey, both on the console and the webpages.

I have opened up an inquiry with the customer support agents, even they couldn't fix the issue on the spot whereas they saw that my profiles are set to the region of Turkey. Still waiting for a feedback from them.

How are you trying to purchase these games? Are you trying to buy them through the Xbox app on PC or Mobile, an Xbox console, the Xbox website or the Microsoft Store app?

If you're buying them through the website, can you verify that you've changed your store region to Turkey? If you're not sure how you can follow this link here: Xbox Resmi Sitesi: Konsollar, Oyunlar ve Topluluk | Xbox

If you're using the Xbox app on PC or Mobile or the Microsoft Store app, verify that you're not connected to any VPNs when trying to access the apps to make purchases.
