Not able to load maps for online playing

A while back, our Reach disc got used and used and it got wear scratches from the Xbox and kept messing up on certain maps. So, I ponied up the money for another disc so we could get the disc to read again. However, it wouldn't load certain maps. I'm assuming
because we got kicked off due to disc read errors from the first one. I'm more than aggravated at Xbox these days and this is yet another problem we have encountered and I'm looking for a solution.

Does anyone know how we can get those other maps to work again? I think we are also having the problems again on Halo 4 disc now. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean it's not working? Can you not add the new maps? They need to be added from within the game.

If you mean that you can't use certain maps online when playing then that could be because other players do not have that pack. The maps will not load if not everyone in the game has it.

hi this is my first time posting so any help will be good thanks,,, i have bought loads of maps for mwf3 and i am just about to buy some more points but when i go to view the store on the game mwf3 it says i can not view the volt i not sure why,, i not been
banned i dont have gold but i not playing online just downloading the maps to play offline so not sure what to do ?

Try downloading Reach onto your Xbox console or hard-drive. That solved the map loading errors on Reach for me a while back. However, the disc needs to be in full working order to fully install the game.

As for the Halo 4 issues, I suggest trying HaloWaypoint.

I tried that a while back and I still can't get Forge Maps to show up in Matchmaking options. I can't seem to find much about it but we're they removed from all Matchmaking play due to mods or something?

You could buy the halo reach DLC version it downloads the game to ur console i have it and its really cheap! i bought it like two years ago and it was only $10.

The maps are used for online play. The team that you're with helps choose the map that you play on. If they don't want the ones you do then you won't be able to play on them at that time.

I always got the feeling 1) that you mentioned is done intentionally to try and keep players playing the game.

"Can't leave until the map is loaded. Well, the map is loaded; I might as well play one more round."

Or it is done to keep players playing together consistently. I feel if players were able to drop out at will, there would be a lot more unbalanced matches encountered.
