when I try and launch a game or app on the xbox app it gives ne the error ''Your trial period for this app has expired. Visit the Store to purchase the full app.'' even though I paid for the game/app

yes multiple times and I've reinstalled the game I was trying to launch but it still gives the same error

I see, I had this issue before after updating W11, have you tried deleting your profile from the PC to add it again?

There might be an update to the Xbox Accessories app on the PC. Check using the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10/11. The app on the PC should then be able to recognize the new firmware of the Elite Controller.
