Not able to launch any gamepass games off of the Xbox app for PC please help

No, They are not. I had GamePass PC earlier and everything used to work properly but then one day I got notification that there is an offer on GamePass Ultimate so I upgraded but since the day GamePass PC subscription ended and GamePass Ultimate subscription started, I can only launch games that are on EA Play and that too from EA Desktop App only.

Now, because the GamePass Ultimate was a 3 month subscription, so I can't even go back to GamePass PC until it's over.

Any game that launches from Xbox app for Windows fails to launch and tried repairing and resetting the Xbox and Microsoft Apps, sign-out and then again sign-in on both the apps but still same thing.

For Example, Forza Horizon 4 used to work earlier but now it does not.

you get that error because gaming services is not installed or updated, gaming services can only install and launch on standard pc architecture and not arm based devices.

the xbox app requires gaming services to be installed to be able to download most xbox app games (gamepass games).

I had the same issue . Turn off recurring billing. Launched Xbox app and it was showing I have GamePass again

Went back to Manage subscription. Turn on recurring billing. Launched Xbox app again and was still showing my GamePass.

Good thing you were able to validate the status of your subscription, Aaron. If I may ask, are you on Xbox or PC? This will determine what steps we need to perform.

Also, can you please try turning off the auto-renewal and then check if there will be an improvement? Just turn off the recurring billing and not cancel, but you can turn it on again later on, to do so sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services.

sign into the kids account on pc, open xbox app, sign out of xbox app and sign in with your account, download forza 5, once done sign out of xbox app and back in with your childs account, they can now launch and play the games, you have been able to share windows games and xbox app games and gamepass pc games with other accounts for a very long time.

You need to subscribe to Gamepass Ultimate to be able to access the games on both Xbox and PC.
