Not able to join clubs on Xbox windows app

I am unable to join clubs on the Microsoft Xbox App. It gave me an error saying that my privacy settings were avoiding me from joining clubs. I've seen my privacy settings and the clubs joining option was allowed but I'm still facing the same problem . I
would be glad if you could help me out with this problem.

Unable to join more than one club

With my XBox app on Windows 10 I am able to join a club, which I did.

But as soon as I try to join another club, the app tells me that I can not join more clubs.

I can't imagine that this is intended by Microsoft, so how can I be a member of more than one club?

Yes, seemed to have been a glitch with the app. I signed out of the Windows XBox app, and for good measure restarted my PC. When I started the XBox app again I was able to join a second club. Thanks onyxishere!

There are various reasons why you are unable to join the clubs on Xbox Live. It is possible that your account settings do not sync with the app. To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following information:

Have you tried to join the clubs via
Xbox.com?

Are you using a child account?

After saving the settings online, have you tried to sign out and sign in to your account again on the Xbox App to refresh your profile?

In the meantime, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for Windows Apps on your computer by clicking the Run troubleshooter button on this link.

Were you able to join a club on the Xbox app before?
Have you tried signing out and signing in to your account from the Xbox app?
Have you tried using a different profile and tried joining a club?

Hi there!

As long as you have an Xbox profile, you should be able to use the club features available on Xbox Live without needing an actual console for it to work.

Does this happen with any club invitation that you receive? Are there any issues with requesting an invite and then joining other clubs?

Do you have Xbox Live Gold? Do you have a Windows 10 PC by any chance to try on the Xbox app for Windows 10?

Hey Lennard,

Is it not allowing you to join clubs for any game or just one game specifically? Also have you tried creating a club just for troubleshooting purposes?

This has been something known for joining or creating clubs for Forza Horizon 4 on the Xbox app for Windows 10.
