Not able to install games in xbox windows

Based on the description, it appears that you are having an issue on your PC where you are not able to install games in your Xbox. I'm glad you took the time to consider this for us so we can help you figure it out for you.

Before anything else, let me ask you the following questions below so that I fully understand the problem.

1. When does the issue started?

2. Did you make any changes to your PC prior to this issue?

3. What are the troubleshooting steps ahve you tried so far?

4. Did you receive any error message when trying to install the game?

Kindly try the steps below.

Update windows

• select the Start Windows logo Start button button, and then go to Settings Gear-shaped Settings icon > Update & Security Circular arrows Sync icon > Windows Update Circular arrows Sync icon.
  

Then try the steps below.

• Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.
  
• After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.
  

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

• Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.
  
• After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

yes, it is. the latest update after checking is for windows antivirus.

I have only recently started using the xbox app, i have solitaire installed and it runs fine. I havent tried installing a more complex game.

This may be something greater than Minecraft. Other games install and run just fine?
