Not able to download Xbox 360 Backward Compatibility games

It's not gears 3, (for as far as i know gears 3 is not backwards compatible)

I can't download any backwards compatible game.

Is there another way then to log in on a xbox 360 console? like if i buy a physical disc of a backwards compatible game, would it work then? and would i be able to download 360 games after that.

Xbox 360 games can only be downloaded on either a 360 or, if they are backwards compatible, on an Xbox One.

Xbox 360 game codes do not work on PC.

You can of course redeem codes for consoles using a PC web browser (or a browser on any device for that matter), but the game will only be downloadable on a compatible Xbox console.

If the game you purchase on the Xbox 360 is backward compatible, list here https://www.xbox.com/en-gb/games/backward-compatibility?cat=xbox360 then yes, the game will show up in your library on the Xbox Series S, and you will be able to download it at no extra cost to you. If the game is not backward compatible, then no, it won't work on the Xbox Series S.

If you look at the list on the link I gave you, you will find that Eternal Sonata is not backward compatible, so the only way you can play the game is by using an Xbox 360.

Only the HD collection is currently on backward compatible list.

You wont be able to play the standard game as it was developed for the original xbox in 2004.

To be able to play original xbox games on the 360 and One you need to download an emulator once you insert the disc. It works for all the games that is in the backward compatibility library.

Ah, that's your problem. If it was a physical disc, you still need that disc to play the backwards compatible game. Playing a physical copy, selling it, and expecting to be able to download the digital version is not how Backwards Compatibility works. You
will only be able to download digital copies of the game that were purchased via the Xbox Store on 360.
