    Not able to download an profile for backwards compatible games on Xbox One X


    I recently bought a few classic 360 games ( GTA IV, GTA SA, Fallout NV & 3). When I start these games I get the "getting your 360 info" and then the game starts. When I try to download a profile, it says "unable to connect to XBOX live" and I can't play
    the game. This is the case with every game and I tried to clear the local 360 storage but it's not working. I looked on the internet and tried al the other options that were on there but nothing successful . I used to play on 360 but it died years ago so otherwise,
    I would just give up on this useless function and play the games on 360 but it's not possible.

    Request a refund for a digital purchase

    If you are trying to find the game on your Xbox One X that is what the problem is.

    The game Remember Me for the Xbox 360 is NOT a backwards compatible game.

    Here is a link to a list of games that are currently backwards compatible.

    Backwards compatible list

    This is why it is not showing up on your Xbox One X.

    Until they put it on that list it will not be able to be played on Any Xbox One

    All digital games purchased via the MS/Xbox store are linked to your account and once you buy the Series X you will be able to download without purchasing again. The Series X will be compatible with all Xbox One games as well as the current backwards compatible
    list.

    The games that would show up in your ready to install would be games that are considered backwards compatible and able to play on the Xbox One.

    Looking at the list at the following site neither one of these games are on the backwards compatible list and this is why they are not showing up as being able to be downloaded to your Xbox One

    On the Series X? No, it's not possible, as they are not backward compatible. On the Xbox One, you will be able to play offline if you have the games on disc. If they are digital downloads of the game, then you will need to stay logged in to Xbox Live on the Xbox One while playing those games.

    There is already quite a few Xbox 360 backwards compatible games available on the Xbox One. You should be able to play these games on any Xbox One device (original, S or X).
