Not able to do Billing of an Accessory replacement ( Power adaptor )

Sorry to hear that you were having issues with this. Unfortunately you were given incorrect information about posting to the forums. Any issues having to do with billing must be handled via phone support due to the need to access the users personal information.

You'll need to order a replacement power supply at devicesupport.microsoft.com .

First, if you haven't already, register your console. Then you should be able to select it and then go to "replace an accessory" where you'll be able to order a replacement PSU.

In most cases, the power adaptor is usually fried and now unusable. In the best case, if you try to use it with a stepdown converter, it just won't work.

In the worst case, the damaged power adaptor can catch fire.

So do NOT use this power adaptor anymore!

Instead, import the power adaptor from a European country like France or Germany, that use plugs that are compatible with the

Type C plug used in India.

Or simply import the power adaptor from ANY 220/230V country, and use any power cord that is able to plug into the

C17/C18 plug of the European power adaptor.

Keep in mind, that you can't usually buy the power adaptor separately in stores. So you need to contact the European support and hope they can send you a replacement power adaptor to India.

Should you still consider getting a stepdown converter, make sure the converter can sustain at least 200 Watts of power!

I do use the Bluetooth to connect my controller, no wireless adaptor.

I actually saw that Xbox accessories app (it's not installed) but I'm afraid to use it because I saw someone bricked their controller using it and they had to make a ticket for replacement for a controller. Also the accessories app doesn't have a good rating in the store.

Anymore suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

CB Rebel's post is correct. You do NOT need to buy the power adaptor that Vibroplex posted above.

The retail Kinect that you buy separately, has ALL accessories neccessary to connect it to any Xbox 360 console (be it new or old).

Only if you bought the Kinect together with a console in a bundle, the Kinect will be missing the power adaptor.

So for people that bought a second console with the Kinect bundle in addition to their existing older console, and want to use Kinect alternating on both consoles, they can buy the power adaptor that Vibroplex posted.

But if you buy the "normal" Kinect retail box, everything is already included.
