    Hi,

    I tried to connect today to my account on xbox one S, and i have an error message saying that i am not connected to the network and suggest to check connection.

    I did the test, and everything is fine, connection work properly and network too, but at the end, i am still not able to connect my account and or games. System always mention that there is a network issue.

    Any idea about what can be wrong with the xbox one S ? Should i need to reset it (i tried to remove my account, and add it once again, still the same error with the network connection error message) ?

    How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

    There is no button or menu to connect!

    The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

    Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

    Xbox Live is under DDOS attack at the moment. I'm sure MS will have it solved shortly.

    Have you tried a hard restart? Holding the power button on the console till it fully turns off then restarting?

    You only mention Youtube, Netflix and HBO, but do you experiencing the same issues from playing games as well?

    When you say, "dumping network connection", what exactly are you referring to? Network connection to Xbox Live, or network connection to your gateway/router? When "dumping network connection" occur, is your Xbox still able to communicate to an Xbox Live server
    through the network diagnostic test(s)?

    Hey Sim :) Have you tried restarting the modem as well? Also, are you able to connect right after the disconnection by testing your network connection? (Guide/Far Right Blade/System Settings/Network Settings/Test Connection to LIVE)

    It seems your console is not able to detect or connect to your network, or can’t establish an Internet connection, or cannot connect to Xbox Live.

    Check the support @ Troubleshoot your Xbox One network connection if it helps.
