Not able to connect to Xbox Live and thus not able to enjoy the benefits

I was using my xbox for over an year now but for the past 2-3 weeks, I am not able to connect to xbox live.There appears a widget "Connect to XBOX Live" on the right side of the screen with a "WiFi and settings" symbol. But, once I click on the same, nothing
happens and the XBOX live still remains unconnected.

Can someone help me troubleshoot this issue.

Hi, sorry for the late answer. I've tried all of those things already unfortunately. My Gamertag shows up in games just fine, but they still do not connect to Xbox Live. I've also filled in the survey for achievement related issues, but it's been almost
4 weeks without any response.

Am I the only one having issues? I've reset my Xbox, and now I've tried deleting/redownloading my profile. I can't even redownload my profile now. I'm not having any other issues with my internet, so I doubt it's me.

This does not work for all, however, it does work for many. Just try it and let us know. Log out of your profile and log back in. Once that is done test it and post back with results. Good Luck!

I tried logging out of the profile and logging in but doesnt work. But, Microsoft just cant charge the membership fee every month and not provide us with the service or a patch that could fix this issue. I am looking forward to some kind of fix that could
help us in the community get past this issue and enjoy our games.

In short, yes it's possible and it's easy to do. Set the console that your kids will use as your profile's "Home Console", they will be able to play all of your games and use your Xbox Live Gold benefits. You will be able to play on the other console as
long as you are signed into your Xbox Live account and connected to Xbox Live. You will be able to play multiplayer games together at the same time as well.

Perhaps you can refine your question and provide a bit more information.

When you cancel your subscription to Xbox Live / Game Pass, you will still be able to enjoy your benefits until the duration of the membership runs it's course.
