    Not able to connect to wireless connection: DNS is not resolving XBOX server names


    Location India.

    Modem : DLINK DIR - 600

    I recently got XBOX from US, It got connected once. Now I dont get the option of giving password of my netwrok also. It throws the error of DNS is not resolving XBOX server names.

    Please help me. Let me know any more details required.

    DNS not resolving server name

    Hi,

    This has been going on for some time now and it’s really doing my head in!!

    I’m constantly getting this error code, DNS is not resolving server names. I’ve tried everything Xbox has recommended for example I’ve switched off the router, I’ve switched off the Xbox, I’ve spoken on live chat. I’ve just listened and tried all the advice
    given.

    Has anyone had this problem? Can anyone help please?

    It have always had it connected to the internet with wireless but i tried hard wiring it in with a cable but then it says DNS is not resolving xbox server names

    My Xbox hasn't got built in wifi, which is why I'm using an ethernet cable.

    I'm getting the error "your dns server can't resolve xbox live server names".

    My xbox connects to the network but not the internet.

    And I have tried setting Googles DNS servers and the OpenDNS servers, which resulted in it not even connecting to the network
