Not able to choose "network settings" in xbox one

Since yesterday problems with xbox one...

When my son chooses "network" in the menu he's not able to choose "network settings" ...nothing happens when he make this choice...

Can someone help us what to do now ?

Are you able to run the "Test Network Connection" under Network Settings? Does that say you "are" or "are not" connected to the internet?

Let's start with doing a hard rest on the console like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and
restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!

No. Your game saves and levels will still be there.

 

No , unfortunately no difference after hard reset...

When I look by system and updates and then choose status latest updates I also still see an error 0x8B050066...

Goodmorning, that's exactly the problem......nothing happens when choosing the "network-button"...no new menu with possibility choosing network setting opens

 

I know this post is a year old but this is my problem right now. Anyone found the solution or does it fix itself?

Have you tried the PowerCycle already? You PowerCycle your Console in the following way:

- Press and hold the white Xbox Button on the Console until it shuts off. Unplug the power brick from both sides for around 2 minutes. Replug and Restart your Console.

If you already did that and its still not working, are you seeing any other issue´s with the Console? Slow / laggy performance, random Error Codes or anything like this?

P.S.: In the future it might be better to make a new Thread instead of digging out a 1 Year old.
