    Not able to change the system language.


    I've bought an Xbox one S in China. When I go to the language settings I only have one language option and that's Chinese, unfortunately I don't understand a word of it and I want to change to English. Please can someone advise me what to do or tell me if
    I'm not looking properly.

    Sadly, there's no way to set the system language to English if you don't live in an English speaking country. I have the same problem, I absolutely hate the Brazilian Portuguese dubbed games and keep my settings as English/Canada (because Canada is more awesome, sorry US), but can't use credit card or Xbox Movies without resetting the system.
    For now, the best we can do is vote in one of the several Xbox Feedback demands to dissociate languages from region on Xbox or let you download games on a language different from the system language.

    Help on changing the language - Xbox.com and Xbox Live

    On your console, you should be able to navigate to System Settings> Console Settings> Language and Locale and select your language there. On Xbox.com, there is no way to change the language while keeping the region the same.

    Chinese Xbox Ones are specially manufactured for the Chinese market. That is why you are only seeing the Chinese language. There is nothing you can do, but purchase a Xbox One which has English as one of the languages.

    Hi, please double check if Russia - Russian is selected here:
    Settings > System > Language & location

    If not please change your language & location to Russia.
    Once the console restarts please verify if you’re able to play the game in the desired language

    If maybe that doesn’t happen, please reinstall the game without changing your country and language

    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Language & location, you should be able to change it from there.

    Hi, in order to change the language in multi-language games you need to change the language for the whole system, to do this you need to follow the below steps:

    - Press the menu key of the controller.

    - Go to Settings> System.

    - Go to the Location section and select "Language & location".

    - Use the "Language" menu to make your selection.

    Doing this will change the language of all your system and games, after this you will probably need to download the language pack for all the games involved
