Not a network related issue with profile download in backwards compatibility. (Download ...

First of all I would like to clearly state that my issue is not network related. My NAT is OPEN, and I can download profiles of any of the other family members' profiles without a problem. The only profile that I cannot download is my own, and whenever
I try I get to the point where it says "Hi [My Profile Name]" and the progress bar gets to about a fifth (about the time it should say something along the lines "downloading information about games", which happens if I am downloading any of the other profiles,
except for mine I just get an error that the profile could not be downloaded. Has anyone else had this issue where the problem is clearly in the profile itself and not hardware/network related?

Download game issue(installation stopped)

So I purchased gow ultimate. Every time I try to install it it gets 20%-80% and then does an installation failed error. When I check the error it says its network related(think it says I have no internet). But I can download other games. Including halo MCC
which took longer but still installed. It does the installation stopped error on gow ultimate, gow 1(backwards compatibility) and viva pinyata(bc). I can delete and install any other games and it will download fine so its not network related.

Anyone know about cancelling a preordered so I can buy the disc?

Hi, it may be some sort of network issue but can you try this please.

On your xbox one sign out of all accounts, launch Red Dead, when the game loads press the menu and view buttons at the same time, the guide will open up, you will see an option to download profile, select that and see how it goes.

Sorry to hear about the profile download trouble. Can you try deleting your Xbox 360 Local Save Data from storage, power cycle your Xbox One, and then try downloading your profile again? The option to delete Xbox 360 data should be under Settings > Storage.

To power cycle your Xbox One, hold down power button for 8-10 seconds until your Xbox One powers off.

Wow thanks! Worked like a charm. The BC game started with the x360 profile matching the xbox one already signed in, so it must have downloaded it with the initial x360 data download.

 

I am having the same issue... I tried what was above and it didnt resolve the issue
