Norwegian location English language

Is it not possible to have English language on your console and have location set in Norway? I really don't like the language to be Norwegian, but I am living in norway.

English isn't his first language, his native language is Norwegian.

OK so... you are basically saying that my account region is set to United Kingdom now? Even when I change my location and language on the Xbox One to Norway/Norwegian? I dont get this.... I can make purchases fine with my VISA debit card (which is saved
to my account) but this only shows up when my location and language is set to Norway/Norwegian. As soon as I set location and language to UK/English I am unable to enter any payment info.

So.... what location/language should my Xbox One be set on when I migrate my Xbox Live Account to Norwegian as you say I should do??

At the moment there is no possibility to choose English in Norway as it's not possible to have language and locale separated. But as this is an often requested feature you may want to vote and discuss on this feature at

xbox.uservoice.com/.../6028840-don-t-region-lock-the-languages

Meanwhile you may set your console to UK für playing, but you need to switch it back to Norway for digital purchases.

 

How do you switch the location to Norway? Norway doesn't appear in our list of locations?

 

OK... so we fixed it now in the language settings.

Very odd way of doing it, being in Languages and not location settings. ODD.

 

Yeah it's more like choose your language and the set your country.

Makes some sense as long as you prefer your local idiom, which is intended originally.

Maybe this will change when we hopefully get language and locale separated one day.
