Normal xbox controller turbo

So I have a normal xbox 1 controller that came with the Xbox. After a day of gaming I had issues with navigating menus in game so I left the game and on the home menu realized all my buttons were stuck in turbo mode. Like I ssid its a normal controller so
there isnt even an option for that. What can I do?

Are people with controller mods being banned?

Isn't there an MS licensed turbo controller? I remember having seen lots of conversations about it and how if you have the licensed 360 turbo controller you won't be banned but modding a normal controller to be rapid fire gets you a ban.

Officially licensed Xbox 360 controllers with Turbo Programmability are NOT "modded controllers".



Regardless of whether or NOT you are using a Officially Licensed Turbo Controller or you are using a Modified OEM controller, there is no way to distinguish between the two unless they come into your house.



The problem is overzealous game developers that WILLINGLY choose to NOT put in specific and proper safeguards, IE Firing Rate Caps and then ban you even though you are using a Supported Peripheral Device such as an officially licensed by Microsoft (Xbox
360) Turbo Controller versus an OEM "modded" turbo controller.



Using a Officially Licensed by Microsoft (Xbox 360) turbo controller is NOT a violation of Microsoft's ToU. Once again, that doesn't mean people won't file a complaint against your or have an ill-informed game moderator or arrogant game developer suspend
your account.

 

Try performing a hard reset on the console EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

 

In addition, be sure to wait at least 30 seconds before unplugging the console from power. To be sure the console was fully powered down.

If disconnected to soon the console may not cleared all cache properly.
