    Nonstop lag and 1 bar ping on COD AW


    I have had ninothing but trouble trying to play. My ping is always bouncing down to one bar and the lag is awful. I'm in Iowa. Is there a problem with the servers? I have doubled my internet speed, so that shouldn't be an issue. I have restarted my router
    numerous times. I'm getting very frustrated. I don't get to play very often so I'd like it to work when I can play. Please help!

    im stumped lol

    okay so i hard weird my gaming room and i am pulling right now as i type this 13Mbps on my Xbone and i am lagging on COD AW and im 4 bar (ping) i have reste my router and i just dont know what to do on my screen i don't lag but on other ppls i do any suggestions?

    Lagging Bad On COD

    Hi xbox guys and gals. I lag real bad like 1 sec or so on COD AW all the time. My download speed is 2.10 mbps. My upload speed is .57 mbps,and my ping is 13ms. Any suggestions what i need to do to not lag? My wireless router is a 802.11g/b. Ive heard 802.11n
    is faster wifi is this the problem? I thought it was until I got good ping.

    Az, Cod has a history of either 1 shot kills or nerf ball clips. Playing Aw, people are going from 1 to 4 bars, 4 to 1 bar. So, I'm 4 bars, suddenly 1 bar, thats when my 1 shot kills come in. The game is lagging terribly.

    It's been trash...I tried playing earlier and it was a constant lag fest. Just terrible connections...

    I tested my internet tonight...15.96 DL, 5.05 UL, 19 ping to Boston...watched movies in clear HD...playing Black Ops? Constant 1-2 bars, felt like it was running at 10 FPS...

    CoD AW really laggy!!

    Am not lagging game play is fine my only issue is seeing everyone ping drop to 1 bar.

    Am with virgin media wired 162 meg no issues yet with lag

    I'm bored with AW, the Double mario jump ruins it imo. Besides, Treyarch make quality games and have the MP nailed. Unlike the other cods you don't suffer from having a better connection against the 1 and 2 bar players, there are less host rage quits against
    split screeners and general lag creators.

    Server lagging out despite my connection?

    Try searching for games in different areas and see if there's a region that's better suits your connection, I live in the UK, however if I join a UK Server I get awful lag and bad hit detection. But European Severs are fine.

    Also check the PING reading on the server in the bottom left hand corner, if all the bars are full then the server as good all round connection. if you join a game where the PING is low then no matter how great your broadband is, you will still get lag.
