It freezes before I can even save a new game. I have no saves. I have deleted everything and re-download ed everything. I can't get past the horse carriage. As soon as he says, "thief over there" it freezes. As the subject says I have tried everything. I
am 5 seconds away from destroying this game and console and saying f**k Microsoft and Bathesda!!!

Hi this happened to me once before I have a disc based version of the game and just ejected – cleaned the disc and cleared my cache as follows: support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

Loaded the game again and worked fine.

My friend has the downloaded version and he had a freezing issue – he uninstalled game, download again and cleared his cache and that worked fine.

Hi there, sorry about your issue.

I suspect that the reason why the game is crashing on that section of the game and all other games are working is because the part of the hard drive where skyrim is installed is faulty or there is a general fault with your hard drive. Here are number of things
you can try:

Remove the Skyrim download from your console. Go to the Xbox marketplace and download some free demo's (two should be fine). Re-download skyrim and any DLC you purchased. Now try it again. If does not crash, problem solved, although I would advise replacing
your hard drive.

If this does not work you'll need either a external hard drive or a USB Flash drive with at least 8GB free. Once the external storage is configured, go to the store and add a demo to your download queue, next add Skyrim and any DLC to this same queue. In the
downloads section of the mini guide, go to the queued Skrim download, press A and select 'change download location'. Select your secondary storage device. Do the same for the DLC that is also queued. Go back up to the Demo and cancel the download.

Your game will now download to the external storage device. When it has finished, test the game to see if it works.

It worked for me as well. I think before I Cleared the System Cache first and then Deleted my Profile. This time, because my profile was already deleted, I did not have to do that step but Clearing the System Cache after the profile was deleted enabled me
to download my profile. I did restart the system after Clearing the Cache and before I downloaded my profile. Thanks much!

Yes, I've done cache clearing, I've deleted my profile from my system and reloaded it, I have checked my NAT type, I've cleared the MAC, performed a system reset (keep games and apps). None of those work. I have done the full factory system reset (clear
everything) and did the manual setup. That didn't resolve the issue.

Hello grizzer98, I have had a similar problem with a game of mine. Try deleting the game, clear your systems cache by going to System Settings > Storage > Clear System Cache, then re-download your game. After doing so, reset your Xbox360. This has worked
for me, so I hope it works for you to!

Did not work. Other methods i've tried are clearing cache, Clearing mac adress, Deleting profile and recovering it, Deleting recently downloaded games, Unplugging Xbox for 5 minutes and None have worked.

Before you try redownloading items, have you tried clearing the Xbox cache? support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

I would clear the cache, delete the corrupted files, maybe even delete an update or two from MW2. Let me know if that works!
