None of my games will download, update or install?

Hi there, my Xbox will not download or update any of my games whatsoever, I’ve tried seeing if my console needs an update but there’s no update available. At first I thought it was just one game that won’t download, install or update but I’ve just tried downloading another game and that also says installation stopped, it was only about 6gb in out of about 36gb. I have tried to clear my local cache and that hasn’t worked, I’ve even uninstalled some games to see if it was a storage issue but it doesn’t seem to be that either. I’m at a loss and I’m not sure what else I can do, every time I try and download or update a game it will just say “installation stopped”.

Also I even bought a game pass to see if it could be that I need to download games from the actual Microsoft store instead of downloading from discs but it’s not that either.

Is there anything I can do to be able to download, update and install my games? Please could you help me? I’m dying to play Skyrim lol but it won’t let me

Hey I’m doing great Thankyou I hope you’re doing good too!!

And yes okay I did think I would need to do a reset but that was the last thing I wanted to do but I’ll definitely give that a shot, but it puts my mind at ease that it doesn’t delete my saved games lol!!

I’m not sure if I have an external hard drive but I’ll have a look

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

In this case, we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

If that didn’t work, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console?

No the thing is I'm a preview member but its not working none of the games are working and none of my downloaded games don't show in my Ready to Install

Hi Jhon, thanks for your suggestions.

1. I bought the game on 12.17, and it's the latest version. When I check for updates, there are no new updates.

2. I've downloaded and installed add-ons. I've uninstalled and re-installed them twice now, just in case something went wrong with the installation.

3. I don't use mods and I have none running or installed.

4. My network connection shows as working. I am able to download and install games.

5. I tried power cycling twice.

Unfortunately none of these suggestions have resolved my issue.

I'm still not able to see a "Creation" option in the main menu, and the other Anniversary content that appears to be working in my game are: Fishing, Survival Mode, and the Sinners and Seducers quest.
