    Hi everyone,

    I've been having a problem with my console lately that has been super frustrating! Whenever I try to launch any of my apps (e.g Spotify, YouTube, Monument Browser etc), they simply do not start running. I have tried uninstalling and installing the apps,
    but this doesn't work.

    Has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

    Since you've tried both of these steps which Microsoft recommend to do, are not working, perhaps it could be the internet connection. When you say they dont run, do you mean they literally dont even open up or open up but dont load?

    Had the same problem, I think it was because of the xbl services. I performed a power cycle and now it works.

    Hi SpokenBadger2,

    How long have you been experiencing this issue? If it has been the last 24 hours, then there were issues effecting some users yesterday with the Xbox Live Services.

    If you are still having issues, I would say try removing your Microsoft account on Xbox One first.

    Before signing back in, perform a power-cycle/reset on the console.

    You could also try a ‘soft’ reset to factory defaults on your Xbox One before signing back in if power cycle/reset
    does not work. Make sure you choose the Reset and keep my games & apps option.

    Have you tried performing a power cycle?

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

    If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

    Important If your console is in instant-on power mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Instant-on mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.
