None of my 360 discs work on my Xbox One

So here's the deal:

Any 360 or original game that I own digitally works. I can play them just fine. DVD's and Blu-Ray discs work. CD's work.

Not one of my 360 discs that are backwards compatible are being read by my Xbone. No error codes pop up. No error status at all. No,"Please insert compatible disc." Nothing happens. My Xbone attempts to read the disc, then just stops. I have contacted support
over the phone, I have spent hours googling this problem.

I gave every single (backwards compatible) disc to my sister who also has an Xbox One and they work just fine. No scratches on any of the discs. I was playing Fable 2 and New Vegas just fine. Then I went to go start up Fable 2 again and nothing happened.
I popped in New Vegas; nothing. Oblivion; nothing. Red Dead - nope. Left 4 Dead 2? Nope. NOTHING. Pls help.

Inserting some game discs opens Blu-Ray player

My Gears of War 1 and 2 discs (Triple Pack) and my Mass Effect 1 discs (Platinum Hits) are not working. When I insert them on my Xbox One the Blu-Ray player opens and plays the "Insert into Xbox 360 console" video. All the discs worked fine on my Xbox 360.

My LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean disc works fine and installed normally, so I know it is not a problem with my drive.

Xbox support told me to clean Blu-Ray cache, turn off and unplug power for one minute, reset to factory. None of these worked and they are telling me to test the discs on another Xbox One, which I don't have access.

Mass Effect Platinum Edition / Gears of War Triple pack not working

None of the 4 discs work (Mass Effect game + DLC, Gears of War 1 & 2).

All of them open the Blu-ray player telling me to put them on a Xbox 360 console. All discs work normally on the 360 and have no scratches. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean works normally on the Xbox One, so the drive is not to blame.

I already filled the survey and was contacted long ago, but had no news afterwards.

Any suggestions? I really want to finish Mass Effect on my Xbox One as the 360 is now at my mom's house.

 

i think your disc reader is broken or that camera that reads the discs

 

If that were the case, then why does every other disc I use work? Xbox One discs, DVDs, Blu-Ray all work. At first I thought there could be a problem with the emulator, but any 360 games I own digitally work just fine.

 

hi, I have the exact same problem. All my Xbox 360 backward compatible game discs do not work at all and do not get any error codes or any dialog box. They did all work up until 2 months ago and played fine, work on other Xbox one console that tried but
still not on mine.

I would also like to know what the issue/problem is as it seems many have this problem. Maybe a preview program update has caused a problem someone mentioned on another post.

All other Xbox one game discs work perfectly and no other problems apart from 360 discs.

Very strange.
