Non stop issues since i installed the update

I installed the new summer update yesterday.. Since then i;ve experienced nothing but issues. My xbox will freeze every 2 mins...Keep getting error message "for some reason .... took too long to start.". Games will not start. Screen goes black after a little
while...after this and the disc drive no longer working I'm getting kind of fed up with xbox..any help with how i can delete then reinstall this update would be appreciated... but I'm also not sure if my xbox won't freeze while trying to uninstall the update
so not sure if that will work.

Incredibly low bandwidth usage while downloading

Can you check if it's trying to also download updates at the same time because this can give issues with the update not finding the game since it's not fully download/installed

Since your NAT is open it shouldn't be giving this many issues

try a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turnoff then unplig it from the outlet foe a minute then plug back in and turn it back on. hopefully the issue will be resolved. If not try solution 2.

Solution 2- go to settings, console and updates, reset console and choose to keep everything. your console wil restart and you'll do a quick set-up when it loads up and sign back in and the issue should be resolved.

I have the same exact issue, spin up, spin down, non-stop about 5 seconds apart. Only resolution was to turn standby off. I wish this would get resolved as it's been an issue since the July update.

Ever since the last update, Halo Wars 2 just says it is corrupted. Complete uninstall and reinstall fails with Installation stopped corruption message. How can this issue be resolved?

I fixed the issue, had to do a windows update, then I just plugged it in, and it installed and worked fine. So for anyone else with this problem just do windows update (it was in the non essential update section).

I appreciate the help, but i already chose yes when asked to update this morning. It did not say it was for the beta it just said an update was available. I tried this morning to use my usb drive to install the newest non beta update with no luck. My xbox
is stuck on a scren that says Update stopped and then asks me to remove and reinsert the storage device. I tried this with both usb sticks that wee plugged in at the time with no luck which makes me believe the 4gbs of flash memory on my xbox are now having
issues or received a partial install.
