Non Multi-platform Games

the 360 still has 2 years of support left..,. most of the games coming out now, as well as into the next year were most likely initially designed for the 360, then swapped out for the X1 then ported back to the 360.

besides.. it is still early.... 80 million 360s to 5 million X1s... the choice is obvious...

Its the teething phase for consoles. The baby steps (as I see it put quite often). Some games will shine, some wont. In time, the library of games available will be vast. Have no doubt

 

OP:About me....

Xbox-Halo CE,Morrowind.

Xbox 360- Lost Planet,Gears of war (1,2,3), Mass Effect,Half Life 2,Forza 4,GTA IV,The Saboteur,Halo 4,Red Dead Redemption,Bioshock,Fallout 3/New Vegas.

 

I'm looking forward to quite a few XO exclusive games coming later this year. Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Forza Horizons, Halo 5 or Halo 2 Anniversary, Project Spark, D4 and Kinect Sports Rivals. And i think the XO already has a decent lineup of exclusives.
Then include all the great 3rd party games.. it's actually a little overwhelming how many games we're getting this year.

 

Oh and if anyone finds any other next generation only games, please don't be afraid to post the names here and any links to interesting videos. I'm always down to get a next generation only game!

 

@randomguy0213: Have you seen or heard anything about Quantum Break or Sunset Overdrive?? I was excited to see those games at E3 and then have yet to hear anything about them since. Project Spark was on top of my list too but all they have given us is a
Beta and no release date to my knowledge.

Do you know if any of the games you listed are going specifically next generation only?

@Tzar of kaos: Completely forgot about the Bioshock series, which was amazing by the way. I even love what they did on the Mass Effect series with their story telling but I was one of the few that was disappointed with GTA IV. LOVED GTA V though.

 

@f00xm4n: That's what really got to me, just prettier trees and lights. I tried looking for major differences between the X360 and X1 versions of AC IV with my friends and the most they could find were prettier landscapes and a smoke animation from the cannons
on ships. Not much else to be impressed by, however, I thoroughly enjoyed playing AC IV on the X1 since I didn't get a chance to play in on the X360.

No Sniper Elite 3? I'm disappointed in your list.

 

@llFatalshockll: Haha, yeah I played the demo for Sniper Elite 2 back on the X360 and loved the slow mo's of long distance kills but that was about it. Never got the game and I saw that SE3 was going multi-platform too so I'm definitely not interested.

If it makes you feel any better, I almost kicked the multi-platform game Destiny off my list as well until I saw a 40 minute video of what it's going to be on YouTube from a poster on this forum. I get a Defiance type feel from it.

 

You can add AC:Unity to your list of next-gen exclusives and I'm sure there will be tonnes more after E3.

Defiance is such an underrated game. I wish they would release it on next gen. I enjoyed it very much. Season 2 soon, so that game could get a kick start.

@ llFatalShockll: I can say I enjoyed Defiance too, which is why I'm really looking forward to Destiny. Just not sure what differences there will be due to its multi-platform nature. I hope there will be a huge difference and not the minute ones we see so
far.

@ ToneSim: Hahaha, as long as it's not a duel on that game. Never really was into Fighting Games besides the old Mortal Combats and Soul Calibur though.
