Discus and support Non-Active Gold membership issue in XBoX Sales and Promo to solve the problem; My gold membership is essentially active as far as my xbox goes, but when I'm on the xbox website, it doesn't register as active so I don't get my VIP...     Non-Active Gold membership issue


    My gold membership is essentially active as far as my xbox goes, but when I'm on the xbox website, it doesn't register as active so I don't get my VIP bonus or double rewards or even have the ability to download games with gold. Any thoughts about a possible
    solution are welcomed

    I'm sorry to hear about the issue. The free games through the Games with Gold promotion are only available to the account that has the active Xbox Live Gold membership. If you are sharing Gold through home sharing, you won't be able to acquire them unless
    you have your own active Gold membership.

    Hello Sergei, surely you mean Gold Membership. If you activate Gold membership, you need to restart the console, then membership becomes active.

    What is a LOCAL ACCOUNT ??? Would that be a profile without a gold membership?

    This was really a non issue 5 months ago JMHO.

    Check to make sure your Gold membership is active, that could potentially be causing the issue.
