Nokia Lumina 520 - how to add xbox account and delete profile created

I opened up the app and it asked me to create a new account..... I now have a new player account that needs removing and my existing account added? is there a quick fix to this, there is no way to do this within the app! Its very frustrating. can anyone
help?

I havent logged onto my live-account for about 10 years because every time i turn on my xbox it logges on automaticly.

My problem is that after purchasing a Lumina 920, trying to connect to the intergrated xbox-app, I created a new live-account. (I didnt know my xbox-account was a live-account and thought I had to register to this system)

Now I cannot see my good-old xbox profile on Lumina, but instead I have a "NEW" one, with zero points, no avatar etc...

I need to delete this account, so I can log-on with my real gaming-profile..how do I do this?

 

Your Xbox account is attached to your Microsoft account. I'm assuming that you created a new Microsoft account (or already had one) that wasn't associated with your gamertag when you setup your phone.

I'm not sure if the instructions there will fix it, but it is a good start.
